Office

"The end of the world" (our building) was built around 1900 for Mathieu Daemen, a trader in: haberdashery, carpets, linoleum and furniture fabrics. Over the years, trading has never left the building, which is why Accent is a perfect match with the location.

Our office combines hard work with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We have an in-house brown bar and fantastic relaxing areas with (amongst some other things) a pool table, plenty reading material, massage chairs and darts.

Why name the building "The End of the World"? This arose popularly because, before the Spuistraat was there (around 1866), the quay of the Voorburgwal ended here.

Trading

Even though you work for yourself as a day trader, you still feel a sense of teamwork. You receive guidance from our experienced trading professionals and can always ask for help from your fellow traders on the floor. In addition to excitement and action, you also get enough space for concentration and analysis.

As an experienced day trader, you know that every second counts and speed is crucial. This is why our IT and support department (on the first floor) play an indispensable role. The day traders rely on powerful computers, network infrastructure, and our trading software built in-house.

At Accent we have weekly drinks in brown pubs and walks along the old canals in the middle of the vibrant city. Our office is a place that radiates drive.

Tech

IT is an important part of day trading on the Nieuwezijds, where advanced technology and infrastructure are key to successful transactions and profitable results. The IT department is housed on the first floor, which is a plant-rich and cozy place.

Everyone is open to a nice conversation, a game of darts or a card game. In this fast-paced environment, collaboration among our skilled IT team members is key for ensuring seamless operations.
